Getting rid of clutter can bring up all sorts of emotions, some happy and good, some are rather nastier and not very helpful. If you have a strong inner critic that reminds you loudly what a terrible person you then self compassion can really make a difference. It’s a method of treating yourself with the same kindness and respect you would treat others.
