In this world, you need to make sure that you have a lot of positivity going on in your mind. A lot of negativity can get to us, so we need to ensure that not much of it actually infiltrates our thinking. There is such a thing as toxic positivity, but you’d much rather have that than be overly negative regarding every single aspect of your life. Negative influences in life are also fantastic at influencing our thinking and making us feel as though there is no real point to life. That kind of individual needs to vanish from your existence as quickly as possible.

But how can we simply remove negative junk and clutter from our lives, though? Is it as simple as snapping our fingers and watching it all disappear? Well, no, not really. There are plenty of easy things we can do that train our brains, however. If you change the way you think and behave, then you’ll slowly become a new person with an entirely new mindset. It’s amazing how the mind can transform over time! Here are a few things you can do:

Walk Away From Drama

For some reason, when we see drama and negativity, our brains sometimes gravitate towards it. We like the thrill and the buzz of dealing with these kinds of things. The best thing you can do, however, is to remove yourself from hassle. You’ll be so much better off in the long run. Whenever someone tries to cause a problem with you, just do your best to ignore and defuse the situation. Lose your ego and avoid drama – it’ll help so much.

Stop Hoarding Little Things You Don’t Need

When we have lots of clutter around the house, it can infiltrate our minds. It’s a habit that we all have gotten into in the past, and it’s something that should be irradiated as quickly as possible. Seeing random items sitting in our homes can bring us all down. To clear your mind a little more, think about keeping things you need – and don’t worry about the ‘what ifs’. Keep a few bamboo cups for the kids, but don’t hoard heaps of extra pieces for them. When you get home from work, don’t throw your items in the corner of the room and leave them there – they don’t get moved for months. Do what you can to ensure your home and storage areas are left clear and spacious.

Less Social Media

Social media is great, but it can clog up your mind. There’s so much going on with regard to online social networks that it can scramble your head. It’s non-stop as millions of pieces of information are thrown at you at once. Stepping away from the apps and living in the real world can do lots of positive things for your headspace.

Surround Yourself With Positivity

Your mind is influenced by the things around you. We’re all very impressionable. Do your best to surround yourself with positive people and content. If you have misery around you, then you’re going to have a cluttered, miserable mind going forward. It seems too simple to be true, but it IS true.
