Find the Perfect Plastic Free July Challenge in this Roundup

plastic free july logo
If you want to reduce the amount of plastic you use, July is the month for it. Plastic Free July started 6 years ago in Perth and has spread across the globe. Many groups and individuals have challenges and courses for Plastic Free July and this post is a roundup of them.

Sign up for all of them, sign up for one. It is up to you. The most important thing to remember is that no one expects perfection. It is hard giving up plastic when it surrounds us daily. If you can make a little move in the plastic free direction it is better than doing nothing. And if millions of us make a little change, that will turn it into a big change.

If you are running a challenge and you would like to be added to the list there is a contact form at the end of the post.

  • Avoid single-use plastic packaging
  • Target takeaway items (the Top 4: bags, bottles, straws and coffee cups)

plastic freeEasy ways to go plastic free course by less-stuff and The Frugal Family

I’m running a course instead of a challenge. It was written with Claire Lyons from www.thefrugalfamily.co.uk and you can join in for daily inspirations, tutorials, recipes and ideas for alternatives that literally will not cost the earth. Each weekday will come with a gorgeous PDF you can print out and keep or store for later. We have a dedicated Facebook group too, but only for people who get the emails.

You won’t need any special equipment to take part because the course is full of ideas that use what most of us have around the house. You can try out everything or dip in and out and use what you like. If you find just one way to reduce your plastic that will go a long way to helping our wonderful planet.

The course is totally free. You won’t be signed up to any other mailing lists and your details won’t be given to any advertisers.
